Housing affects lots of issues in our lives and those of our children, issues that are both financial and social. Home ownership and quality housing contributes to greater whaanau prosperity and wellbeing.

Our Tooku Nei Whare initiative provides financial literacy and home ownership workshops which aim to educate iwi members about how to effectively manage their money and the process towards owning their own home.

To date, more than 100 iwi members have taken part in our financial literacy workshops and 75% reporting a change of behaviour towards their finances. Another 400 have attended our home ownership workshops with 42 of those progressing to home ownership.
